A relaxation massage is exactly that, Relaxing! You will find this gentle massage therapy very relaxing. The massage therapist uses a combination of deep circular movements, long strokes, kneading to relax superficial muscles of your body. A relaxation massage is also perfect to assist in ridding the body of stress and anxiety. It will help you unwind, leaving you feeling reenergised. Remedial is one of our most popular treatments that is useful for problems that affect muscles, tendons, and bones, and you can also claim health rebates for it.
A full body massage normally includes your head, neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, legs and feet. Some massages may also include the stomach or buttocks depending on the massage and the concerns raised by the client. Please note that you can always speak with your therapist to avoid areas you do not want massaged, or to include specific areas that require attention.

Remedial massage is the form of massage used to manage acute and chronic muscular pain and tension. Remedial massage is intended as a more targeted treatment of painful muscles or injuries. The therapist is required to study at a higher level to fully understand the way the body works. Your therapist is then able to provide treatment that focuses on the areas causing pain and the areas that are contributing to the pain, which may be different.
In short, no it is not! A deep tissue massage is a full body massage that uses pressure and more forceful massage strokes to target the deep layers of the muscle and connective tissues. It is a strong and relaxing massage that helps release general muscle tension and enhance recovery from physical exercise. The pressure applied can be varied, depending on the client’s requirements. This can also be adjusted during the massage, by asking for more or less pressure.
